Privacy Policy

We keep it simple. Here is everything Ongles Paris (the site and the app at onglesparis.com) does with your data.

The app

  • No account. The app has no sign-up. It never asks for your name or email.
  • Your answers, your photo and your results are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not uploaded to a gallery and not used to train anything. Clearing your browser data, or tapping “Réinitialiser le diagnostic” in the app, deletes them.
  • The photo reading. Your photo is analysed in your browser. When our optional vision analysis service is switched on, the photo is sent to it once, for that reading only, and is not stored by us.
  • Reminders. If you allow notifications, the reminder times you choose are kept on your device. You can revoke the permission in your browser at any time.
  • Care subscription. Payments are handled by our billing provider (RevenueCat, with Stripe). They receive the email you give at checkout and your payment details; we never see your card number. Their own privacy policies apply to that step.

The site and the newsletter

  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email address and the page you subscribed from, and use them only to send the newsletter. Write to contact@onglesparis.com to unsubscribe or to be deleted.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our host keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser) for a short time, for security.
  • No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no sale of your data, ever.

The former shop

The Ongles Paris shop closed in September 2026. Details of orders placed before then (name, email, shipping address) are kept only as long as accounting and warranty obligations require, then deleted. Email us to ask about, correct or delete them.

Email contact@onglesparis.com to access, correct or delete anything we hold about you. We comply with the GDPR and applicable US state privacy laws.
